The whole concept of writing my first book on a blogsite is a fairly new concept to me. The first time I heard the term blogging was during the coverage of both the GOP and DNC National conventions and just recently I was at a seminar/dinner on Job Networking and the presenter, Justin Driscoll, was giving a Powerpoint. Near the end, he had a lot of websites to explore and the last one he mentioned was www.blogger.com. I was fascinated by it since I also use www.livejournal.com to write some of my thoughts and poetry.

My profile speaks for itself, however there are some things that didn't get mentioned on the profile that I think I should mention about myself. As well as being co-editor of our campus' newsletter "The Lion's Tale." , I am also a twice published writer and poet for our student literary magazine "The Write Side." I just recently participated for the first time in our campus' Research and Science Fair under the Arts category and our Eng050 class, under the direction of Judy Goldberg, put together an oral presentation on Western Pennsylvania Culture and Beauty. It was the first time ever that the literary community was aloowed to ever participate in this event. My poem, "The Mighty Mon." was my tribute to the Monagahela River here in Pittsburgh and was received very well.

On my spare time I study different cultural beliefs and I consider myself to be spiritual rather than religious. I practice Shamanism/Wicca, hence the title of this novel. I hope when you read it that you will read it with an open mind and with a greater understanding of what Wicca is since I incorporate a lot of its principles into the story. The synapsis of the story is about two spirit entities that take on human form and go about playing tricks and fooling people to cause problems with peoples lives, disrupting society, not really meaning to hurt people but because they don't understand that what they do is hurting people. Our hero of the story is a well known and respected dealer of antiquities who's back room is his Arcania Sanctuary. The rest, well you will have to read to find out. Enjoy!
